Aufgabengebiet

As Head of CoE Accounting, you will lead the global Accounting Center of Excellence and assume overall responsibility for Group accounting governance, IFRS compliance, and the continuous development of accounting standards across an international organization. This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future accounting landscape of a rapidly growing Group undergoing significant transformation, centralization, and international expansion.

Anforderungsprofil

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in Group Accounting, Corporate Finance with IFRS and consolidated financial statements expertise
  • Proven leadership experience within complex international organizations
  • Strong understanding of accounting governance, reporting processes, and internal controls
  • Experience working with multinational corporate structures and global stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change, process harmonization, or finance transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior management
  • Experience with modern ERP and financial reporting systems
  • SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, Wirtschaftsprüfer, or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Strong interest in digitalization, automation, AI applications, and data analytics
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous



Vergütungspaket

  • Lead and further develop the global Accounting Center of Excellence
  • Take overall responsibility for Group accounting governance and IFRS compliance
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient Group reporting processes
  • Drive the continuous improvement of accounting policies, standards, and internal guidelines
  • Oversee the content-related responsibility for Group consolidation activities
  • Further develop and harmonize the Group Chart of Accounts
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex IFRS matters across international entities
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors and regulatory stakeholders
  • Support the integration of newly acquired companies into the Group accounting framework
  • Drive global accounting process harmonization and centralization initiatives
  • Improve financial reporting quality, transparency, and efficiency
  • Lead digitalisation, automation, AI, and data analytics initiatives within accounting
  • Partner closely with Group Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Risk Management, and international Finance leaders
  • Support strategic finance transformation projects and the future development of the global finance operating model
