My client is a company from the construction industry that offers innovative & ecofriendly software solutions I am looking for a Principal Engineer - Cloud Engineering (f/m/d) who is passionate about DevOps and SRE and motivated to bring the team to the next level.

Aufgabengebiet

  • Responsibility for technical architecture
  • Creation of cloud architecture, -solutions and infrastructure using Microsoft Azure
  • Technical lead of DevOps, Software Developers and SREs
  • Support growth of several infrastructure services
  • Construction and maintenance of self-service platforms and improvement of CI/CD infrastructure & roadmap
  • Work with Service Level Objectives & -Indicators as well as System Availability (including definition, tracing, analysis, and report)
  • Migrate legacy applications into cloud
  • Close contact with Incident Managers to prevent other occurences


Anforderungsprofil

  • 15+ years of professional work experience in the areas of DevOps, infrastructure or software engineering
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in the public cloud field; 4+ years as a team lead of a DevOps team
  • Excellent expertise constructing and managing large cloud offerings in Microsoft Azure
  • 24/7 site monitoring proficiency and close teamwork with several stakeholders
  • Good know-how regarding CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Knowledge about security features as well as about solutions for logging, monitoring and altering (e.g. Kibana, New Relic)
  • Experience in working in a B2B Environment
  • Great understanding about networking and its infrastructure
  • Business proficient English skills
