Our client is a global alternative investment management firm with several billion AuM and several locations globally. For their expansion plan in Europe and the strategic growth of Switzerland we are searching for a Hedge Fund Manager (Portfolio Manager) with a track record in long/short Equity. They pursue liquid investment strategies across Absolut return, Quantitative, Market natural, Equity long/short, Equity Arbitrage and Fixed Income.
Aufgabengebiet
- Develop and execute a disciplined and sustainable investment process
- Manage a portfolio in accordance with established trading and risk parameters
- Strategies include equity, quantitative, statistical arbitrage, fixed income and commodity investing
- Consistent ability to generate high quality of returns
- Opportunity to create own new strategy which fits risk parameters of 5% draw downs
- Take advantage of a robust platform through access to financing, liquidity, research and execution across global markets and asset classes
Anforderungsprofil
- University degree in Finance or quantitative economics with a CFA
- Several years of experience in working as a Portfolio Manager or Trader within a Bank, Asset Manager or Hedge Fund
- Successful track record in managing own portfolio with a strong performance
- Strong experience in trading liquid products, long/short, absolute return, quantitative strategies
- Autonomous in managing own team and investment process from risk management up to investment decisions
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Disciplined personality with a systematic way of working and strong analytical skills
