Aufgabengebiet
- Develops and manages the annual marketing plan, marketing strategy, and budget in alignment with business development and international growth objectives.
- Develops and implements marketing tactics to meet agreed objectives for revenue targets and leads generated.
- Create and deliver brand awareness campaigns, select key conference and association partners, target appropriate avenues to build the company's image in Germany/Europe
- Support the lead conversion process through the screening and qualification of leads up to and including engaging with prospects at conferences, responding to phone inquiries, qualifying leads and ensuring all leads are quickly transferred to the managing director or designated lead consultant for additional nurturing.
- Drives business development and marketing activities to help achieve fulfillment targets for events and workshops in support of training and consulting business.
- Develops and oversees the implementation of market-specific customer-facing communications, collateral, interactive marketing, direct marketing, and web content.
- Oversees relationships with marketing, advertising, PR and interactive agencies related to marketing plan implementation.
- Works with consulting teams and with writers to develop case studies, white papers, web events, and press information.
- Manages all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
- Tracks, analyzes and reports results of marketing campaign initiatives. - Develops recommendations and counter measures based on results analysis.
- Implements voice of customer or marketing research, gathers and analyzes competitor data and market conditions and applies knowledge to marketing recommendations and tactics.
Anforderungsprofil
- Fluent reading and writing capability in German and English (French is desired).
- Proven ability to develop and implement all marketing, interactive and promotional activities.
- Interest and ability to participate in customer-facing interaction on the phone or face-to-face at designated events
- Analytical thinker, problem solving skills is a must.
- Desired experience with interactive marketing, search engine optimization, and pay per click advertising a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work with a global team of consulting professionals and senior-level clients.
- Ability to understand market dynamics.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills: courage, decision quality, listening, initiative, drive for results, customer focus, integrity, and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong customer orientation; able to influence and negotiate
- Resourceful, enjoys problem solving, and set-up in a start-up environment
- Demonstrated Ability to work with employees on all levels both directly and remotely
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- several years experience in marketing, marketing services, product marketing, or brand marketing.
- Business-to-Business (B2B) services marketing background required
- History of managing and being managed to targeted results
- Experience / exposure to manufacturing industries a plus
- University Degree in marketing or other business related field
- MBA preferred but not required
