About Lavazza

Established in 1895, and owned by the Lavazza family for four generations, Lavazza is currently one of the world’s top coffee roasters, leading the Italian coffee retail market with a 45% market share (by value; source: Nielsen) and operates in more than 90 countries through subsidiaries and distributors. Lavazza operates in both the At home and Away-from-Home markets (Foodservice, Vending and Coffee Shops), and reported a turnover of over €1.3 billion in 2013.
From the late 1800s to today, we have been committed to achieving excellence in the production of coffee. We can count on solid experience, treasured over the course of more than a century in business. Our entire history is marked by a series of brilliant insights, starting with the very concept of blends, invented by Lavazza at the turn of the 20th century.
Today Lavazza is the symbol of Italian coffee around the world, the privileged beacon of our lifestyle and the values of our country. The key to Lavazza’s success is the energy, enthusiasm and determination of human resources. That’s why we make sure that the skills and talents of all our staff are consistently recognised, by rewarding competence and managerial know-how. Our people love their jobs and never stop trying to make a good thing even better
