Our client, a well established financial structure, is currently looking for a Sale Associate (Asset / Investment Management Sector), eager to join a multicultural and dynamic company.


As a Sale Associate, your main tasks will be :

  • Support the Sales teams to build relationships and promote the products, services and brand to current and future clients
  • Proactively review sales management information, competitor information and industry press to develop client relationships and generate sales leads/ideas
  • Help analysing the existing customer base to identify opportunities aiming at promoting the products and services and achieving the team sales goals
  • Maintain awareness of business inflows and outflows and follow up with the Sales team and clients, as appropriate
  • Respond efficiently to client requests for product information and alert Sales Managers to potential sales opportunities
  • Act as first point of call for complex client issues that require navigation through the structure to resolve
  • Take responsibility for delivering specific client reporting (as agreed with the Sales Managers) and facilitate an effective sales process by providing selected clients with tailor made information
  • Analyse products (from the firm and competitors) providing ideas and identifying selling points also through interaction with clients at Fund Selection Unit level in cooperation with the relevant Sales Managers
  • Actively support campaign activity liaising with the Sales and Marketing teams as well as internal business groups
  • Gather performance and charting information for presentations, meetings and special events
  • Key contributor in supporting and hosting national and regional client events, including conferences, road shows, distributor workshops, tailored client visits, and organised client phone conferences
  • Actively participate in the success of the client events, proactively contact potential attendees and ensure their presence in events etc.
  • Together with the Sales Managers, support every step and aspect of the event's organisation and ensure a successful delivery of high profile events
  • Follow up clients activity as required to maximise sales opportunities


Your profile :

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the financial industry
  • Higher education in business and/or economics
  • Analytical approach, but still out-spoken
  • Ability to create reports and presentations based on complex financial information, in a manner that supports sales and business targets
  • Independent with a hands-on approach, not afraid to take own initiatives
  • Well organised and attentive to detail
  • Very good spoken and written language skills in English, Dutch and/or French will be an advantage
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Results orientation
  • Good PC knowledge, incl. PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Mature personality with potential to take on expanded/deeper responsibility in the business team
  • Social competence and team player
