Our client is an international high quality company in creative turnkey solutions for company branding. They provide a project management service with a focus on innovative design concepts and delivering top-quality projects worldwide. The customers of our client vary from leading global brands to specialist niche companies, in sectors such as printing, banking, chemical and automotive industries. Our client is headquartered in Roermond.


The primary responsibility for the Head of International Business Development will be to pro-actively manage, maintain and initiate (existing) client relationships whilst identifying and developing new opportunities worldwide.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Managing, training and developing the sales team
  • Working with (and be a part of) the Management Team with whom you develop a mission, whilst working together with the departments Support and Project Management
  • Working with (prospective) clients at multiple levels (C-level, directors and procurement) to maintain and develop strong relationships besides driving business opportunities
  • Accountable for the sales budget and targets, together with the Management Team and also responsible for ensuring the sales team to realise the defined goals
  • Keeping up to date with relevant trends, developments and identify and develop opportunities in the market of live communication
  • Develop and maintain an international client portfolio of leading global brands, multinationals and specialist niche companies


Ideal candidate criteria:

  • A Master degree in Business Economics or equivalent
  • Fluent English and German; other languages advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis
  • A strong track record in consultative selling of a business to business service in an international environment
  • Strong leadership skills and able to provide a track record in successful team and business development in a similar line of business
  • A self starter, strategic, commercially aware individual who can communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong analytical skills and identify opportunities and trends within their specific market
  • A strong influencer with exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service levels in the sense of deliverables and quality
  • A people-manager who is capable of working together with a team
  • Used to exceed customers expectations
